Who We Are

Domenico and Gioia began dancing together from their very first steps at the age of 10. They went on to become seven-time Italian champions, from the Junior to the Professional divisions. In the early stages of their international competitive career, they achieved the following: International Junior Finalists, Blackpool Junior Finalists, WDSF Youth World Vice-Champions (Under 18), Blackpool Under-21 Champions, and USBC Miami Under-21 Champions. Starting in January 2001, they consistently ranked among the top six in the world in all major Adult-category competitions. From then on, they remained among the top six couples in the world, competing in all the “Finals” without interruption in every single competition for 12 consecutive years, until their retirement from competition in 2013, reaching the remarkable total of more than 300 consecutive finals danced. In 2002, they narrowly missed victory at the World Championships, the German Open Championship, and the Blackpool Dance Festival, where the results were decided by Rule 11 due to a tie. They then became Champions in the Adult category for three consecutive years, winning every single competition without interruption until they surpassed the number of one hundred consecutive wins.
