Genny Favero is probably the most inspiring Italian dancer, capable of warming the heart. You can feel it when you see her dance. You experience it when you attend one of her classes or lectures.
Genny, an Italian, was born and raised in a small town near Venice. At the age of nine, she put on her dance shoes and never took them off again. In her early years, she danced all ten Ballroom disciplines. After about ten years, she chose to specialize exclusively in Standard dances. And she made the right choice in pursuing this specialization.
TWO OPEN BRITISH TITLES
She danced with Federico Di Toro for 18 years. Together, they won the Junior Blackpool, the GOC, and even the Under-21 category at the Open British Championships in Blackpool in 2001. Her best result with Federico was a 3rd-place finish at the Open Amateur Championships in Blackpool.
In 2010, Genny returned to the dance floor with great enthusiasm alongside her new partner, Evgeny Moshenin. They won the Italian Amateur Standard Championship and were finalists in all the major championships, including the European Championship in Germany, the GOC, and the World Championships in Melbourne.
